Dates for key decisions
Each month the leader of the council will produce a Forward Plan of decisions which are to be taken by the cabinet, individual cabinet members, or officers, during the following twelve months:
A key decision is an executive decision which:
has significant budget implications for the service concerned;
or
has a significant effect on the communities of two or more wards of the borough.
The Forward Plan will contain the following information:
- the subject of the decision to be made;
- who is going to make the decision;
- when the decision is going to be made;
- who is to be consulted before the decision is made;
- how they are to be consulted;
- how anybody else can make their views known;
- the documents which will be taken into account when the decision is made.
