Engineering and transport
We cover all aspects of what happens on our roads, ensuring the traffic flows freely and safely around town, as well as making sure that parking facilities are maintained and monitored. In addition we make strategic plans for the future that will make life in Luton happier.

Environmental and consumer services
It is vital that everyone enjoys our town. We work hard on environmental issues to make sure that Luton is a great place for everyone to live in. We also take care of everybody who buys or sells through our trading standards, and we make sure businesses have the appropriate licenses they need to grow and serve their customers.

Planning
We oversee planning applications and every aspect of building regulations to make sure all projects in the town are controlled and safe. We are also involved in larger scale projects aimed at improving the town and surrounding areas.

Regeneration 
The regeneration section is engaged in bringing investment money and new business to the town to provide the sort of opportunities that those living in Luton deserve.

Street services
Our role is that of caring for spaces such as our parks and cemeteries.  We make sure your bins are collected each week too!
