Volunteering at Luton Borough Council

Now it's your chance to give something back to the community!

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to bring in new skills, knowledge and experience to provide additional support for the services we provide, so together we can improve the quality of life for all of us who live in Luton.

Volunteering opportunities are available in a wide range of council areas and departments including volunteering with vulnerable adults, younger people or at local events, projects and initiatives - including the Love Luton 2012 Festival (please view full list on the information booklet below).

Full training will be provided and volunteers will have the chance to undertake a volunteer accreditation and skills analysis, should they wish to.

The scheme was launched recently with some of our senior managers picking up their paint brushes and heading to Farley Community Centre to give one of its community halls a new look.
