With local unemployment running at just above the national average, there is still a large pool of potential employees to tap in to.

The population of Luton is 185,000, with more than 40% of that number aged below 25 years. Luton is a young and vibrant town with a new generation coming through full of energy and possibilities.

Lutons excellent transportation links mean that Luton is easily accessible. A number of employees travel into Luton from surrounding towns and villages for work.

Through Inward Investment a number of jobs have been created over the past  years with plans for more. This is supported by the schemes such as Butterfield, Napia Park, Power Court and the expansion of London Luton Airport expecting to generate in excess of 5,000 jobs.

The University enhances the calibre of Luton's workforce.  Luton also houses supportive educational centres such as Luton Sixth Form and Barnfield College.
