The whole concept of Butterfield is to create a calm, comfortable and stimulating working environment which, will inspire your team to work productively, and your business to operate effectively and profitably.

Butterfield will be divided into different zones with a range of contemporary and sustainable buildings for a variety of end uses, from corporate headquarters and serviced offices, through to bespoke buildings for research and development (R&D), manufacturing and technology.

The Butterfield masterplan includes:

• Zone A:  36.6 acres (14.8 hectares) including a Central Facilities building, Innovation and Business Base, park and ride, hotel and business village 
• Zone B:  32.6 acres (13.2 hectares) suitable for offices, R&D, technology and corporate headquarters facilities

Sustainable Design
Designed by an award winning team Butterfield will balance high quality business facilities with an environment where your workforce will prosper.

A sustainable approach to the design of Butterfield’s buildings and landscaping has been embraced.  The buildings will maximise natural light and energy efficiency wherever possible with, for example, those in Phase I being naturally ventilated via an earth duct cooling system.

Landscaping forms an important part of the overall strategy and will create an impressive natural environment within which to work.  Careful masterplanning will ensure that the existing mature hedgerows and areas of boundary woodland will be preserved and enhanced.  Wildflower meadows and grassed areas will be introduced together with more formal ornamental planting for areas close to buildings.

Flexibility in Design
Butterfield will offer a selection of purpose-built offices as well as bespoke design and build solutions to accommodate occupier needs.  This flexibility presents leading R&D and office occupiers with the opportunity to acquire the quality and scale of space they need in an attractive working environment.

On-Site Support
A dedicated management team will provide a host of support activities to allow your business to focus on its core activities.  The business park will be fully managed with 24-hour guarded security and CCTV surveillance.
