Luton Walking Strategy aims to promote a safer, easier and attractive environment for pedestrians and encourage people to walk for health, exercise, enjoyment or to get about.

The Luton walking strategy aims to promote a safer, easier and more attractive environment for pedestrians and to encourage people to walk for health, exercise, enjoyment or simply to get about.

It has 21 policies or actions to encourage walking in luton. These include a programme of consultation with residents and organisations to find out what sort of measures they would like to see in their area.
