There will be a speed limit (pdf document 722kb) along the entire route. please note that there will be temporary 30mph and 40mph speed restrictions in Airport Way and parts of Capability Green, Gipsy Lane, Vauxhall Way and Lower Harpenden Road as well as narrow lanes.

The speed restriction order will be in place until further notices.

There will also be a number of temporary footway and cycleway closures and the plans below show both the closure and diversion.

The reopening footpaths and the cycleway is not anticipated until early 2009.

If you are intending to fly out from London Luton Airport please ensure that you leave plenty of time to allow for traffic delays especially if you are travelling on the M1.
