A fine blend of Caribbean, African, Asian, English, Latin American and Irish sounds and a variety of dance, food and entertainment all on the same day, superbly reflecting the diverse mix of cultures in Luton - come and join us this Bank Holiday Monday 26 May.
Luton Borough Council’s Arts Development Unit, together with partners Luton Carnival Development Trust and Luton Sounds Forum have been busy planning the carnival for the past year to make it a great day out for all the family.
This year's parade is set to impress carnival goers with more than 2000 people together in eye-catching, breath-taking procession demonstrating Luton's diverse mix of arts, music and culture.
With masquerade groups, sound trucks, steel bands, DJs and stilt walkers, this will be a spectacular parade - guaranteed to be one of the highlights of the day.
Carnival will once again include a mix of craft fundraising and trade stalls, mainly located in Wardown Park but with some in George Street, as well as amusements, attractions and rides.
