Brakin’ Arts Festival ’08, 16 –28 June.
This June the hat Factory will introduce it’s most ambitious project to date, Brakin’ Arts Festival ’08. Seeking to break down the barriers of performance, price and perception we have an eclectic range of artists and performances over 10 days. Many of these artists are breaking through in their own right in areas of music, dance and theatre.
The Festival aims to be accessible to all, giving people the opportunity to sample experimental theatre work and view music artists from a variety of backgrounds and genres, with support slots showcasing local emerging artists.
Brakin Arts presents an innovative format, pay as much as you like for any of the performances. Enjoy the event and pay what you want as you leave whether it is 10p or £10. Headstart
The Headstart Project delivers business and technical support and project desk hire facilities to the creative sector at the hat Factory. The project which is funded by LBC, ACEE and ERDF also runs free Jam nights to develop musical talent and has access to free Gallery display areas.
