Children drawing
The Learning Support Service aims to respond to the individual needs of pupils, staff and schools.

We are an experienced team of advisory teachers with specialist knowledge and skills.

We work in partnership with Luton schools and other services within the Integrated Services the of Children & Learning Department to support the education of pupils with a diverse range of special educational needs in both mainstream and special schools.

We also support schools in the implementation of the SEN Code of Practice (2001) and associated legislation.

What do we do?

The Learning Support Service support and advise schools to enable pupils with Special Educational Needs to achieve the five outcomes from the Governments white paper ‘Every Child Matters’ (2005).
