Available to download below is a detailed description of the proposed traffic management procedures and temporary traffic orders to be put in place for the Love Luton Festival and Olympic Torch Celebration 2012.
Park & Ride
The Council will be operating a special park and ride service to the festival from Stockwood Park, LU1 4BH and Barnfield College, LU2 7BF (New Bedford Road campus) from 6-9 July.
The shuttle buses will run from 4.30pm until midnight on Friday 6 July, and from 11am until midnight on Saturday 7 July. On Sunday 8 July the bus will run from 11am but will stop temporarily during the Olympic Torch Parade at approximately 5.30pm and should recommence at 7pm providing it is safe, and will then run until midnight.
Park and ride will be charged at £5 per day for each car. Charges are payable upon entry to the car park.
