This includes developing a culture of aspiration and high achievement that provides the skills for the sustained development of the Luton economy improves the life chances of all residents.

To create a strategy that will encourage employers and individuals to take joint responsibility for up-skilling Luton’s workforce.

Luton 2040: A place to thrive

Following the success of the Luton Investment Framework (LIF) in attracting investment into the town, we recognised the need to ensure that everyone in Luton could benefit from economic growth.

The Inclusive Economy Strategy will help us secure a strong recovery following the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as reforming our economy to be more inclusive and sustainable so that everyone in Luton can benefit from economic growth and opportunities in the town.
