You don't have to do it alone. Luton NHS Stop Smoking Service offers free local support that really works and is tailored for all communities and cultures.
Luton Stop Smoking Service is the most effective way to quit smoking. We offer all the support and advice you need to lead a new, smokefree life, and the service really works. In fact, last year over 1,360 local people quit with us.
The service is free and confidential to anyone who lives and/or works in Luton, so you can feel confident you’re getting the very best support available.
You can work with a trained adviser, either in a group or one to one. They will be able to tell you about Nicotine Replacement Therapy products, Zyban and Champix. If a product is recommended, you will be able to get it at prescription cost.
You will be able to use a carbon monoxide monitor to assess your level of addiction and watch the fall in harmful carbon monoxide levels in your body when you stop smoking.
The service runs clinics at various locations across Luton, including the L&D Hospital, Marsh Farm Health Centre, Farley Hill Community Centre, Dallow Learning and Community Centre and the NHS Walk in Centre on Chapel Street.
