Public liability insurance
Public Liability is designed to provide cover to the Policy holder (company, business or individual) in the event that they become legally liable to pay compensation to a third party.
Only Luton Council and its employees can be covered through Luton’s Insurance policies. Any contractors, companies, businesses or individuals that the council deals with will need to obtain their own policy of Insurance in their own name to cover their own liability.
If a letter of claim is made from 1 July 2022 it is required to go to:
