On 22nd October 2012, Executive agreed to begin a consultation on the future of Extra Care services in Luton.
The proposal under consultation is to draw up a new agreement for Extra Care based on residents' views on their care and support needs, and to go out to tender for onsite care contracts at the five Extra Care sites in Luton.

If you are a resident at an Extra Care scheme, a Factsheet and a paper survey will delivered to you. 'Drop in' sessions will also be held by Council officers at all Extra Care sites to discuss the proposals.
