Information The Council in conjunction with the Luton and District Combined Ex Service Association are celebrating Veterans Day on Saturday 7 July on St Georges Square.

The Mayor will officially open the event at 11am. There will be displays on the square eg rigging by the Luton Sea Cadets and marching by the Harpenden Pipe Band and the various ex-service associations will have information available from marquees nearby.

The day will culminate in a drumhead service at 4.00pm, led by father David Goodburn of St Saviours Church, supported by the Vauxhall Male Voice Choir and the Harpenden Pipe Band.
